The law that opened doors for people with disabilities.
According to the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship, in its publication in July 2020, “In 2018, the formal labor market accounted for the presence of 456,700 people with disabilities and rehabilitated individuals in Brazil.”
En cuanto a la rehabilitación profesional de las personas con discapacidad, la ley busca concienciar sobre su capacidad productiva y, sobre todo, promover la inclusión social, rompiendo tabúes sociales. Para el éxito de la ley, se impuso la siguiente distribución en materia de contratación:
"Following this social issue, opening the doors and windows of family homes with the aim of integrating family members into society, bringing a new perspective on life, has certainly changed things. Yes, it has changed everyone's lives a great deal."
For the law to succeed, the following distribution regarding hiring had to be imposed:
